Bascum Lee Chapman, age 79 of Sulphur Springs, TX passed away on December 16, 2021 at Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Bascum was born on October 11, 1942 in Tira, TX to Harley Raymond and Jonn Julia (Rogers) Chapman. He married Mary Claudene Perkins on August 18, 1963 in Sulphur Springs, TX. Bascum was retired.
He is survived by his sons, Lee Chapman Jr. and wife, Diane, John Clinton Chapman and Joe Chapman and wife, Yuko; grandchildren, Lee “Tres” Chapman III, William Chapman, Isadora Chapman, Pearl Chapman and Jaqlynn Chapman; great grandchildren, Dani and Genesis Chapman; sisters, Scelena Sebastian and Jo Woodard and brother, Claude Chapman.
Bascum was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; son, David Raymond Chapman; six brothers and two sisters.
