The Cumby Police Department will be participating in National Night Out on October 5 in an effort to strengthen relationships between citizens and their police.

Located at BlackJack Grove Park, Night Out will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is free to all.

It will feature hot dogs, snow cones, a bounce house, music, and a chance for kids to see emergency vehicles and personnel up close and in a non-emergency setting. The department will also be giving away a bicycle.

For more information, search for Cumby Police Department of Facebook or call 903-994-2666.
