Possible rain in weekend for Hopkins not likely

Some nearby areas may see scattered thunderstorms, but it’s unlikely the Hopkins County area will, according to the National Weather Service. 

Friday is sunny, with a high near 92 and a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Friday night is clear, with a low around 74

Saturday is sunny, with a high near 81 and a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11 a.m. Saturday night is partly cloudy, with a low around 75.

Sunday has a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. with otherwise mostly sunny skies and a high near 90. Sunday night has partly cloudy skies and  a low around 74.
