Sulphur Springs Police Department responded to two false reports of an “imminent threat” at Walmart in Sulphur Springs on Wednesday morning.
SSPD responded to the reports and cleared the store of customers on both occasions. Officers swept the store along with store personnel and did not discover anything dangerous, according to SSPD Chief Jason Ricketson.
Ricketson said that rumors of a bomb threat were inaccurate. The report was related to an “imminent threat”.
