Memorial service for Gayle Gamblin, age 90, of Sulphur Springs will be held at a later date.  Mr. Gamblin passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital, Sulphur Springs, TX. 

Gayle Deloe was born on June 1, 1930 in Pleasant Valley, Texas to Gaylord and Nora (Moorman) Gamblin.  He married Patsy Ann Hart on January 27, 1954 in Loving, NM, she preceded him in death on December 9, 2017.  Gayle served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  He worked hard well into his 80’s, from farming to oil rig tool pusher to truck driver and many other self-taught skills. Nothing could stop him from taking on any challenges.  Gayle was a good man that tried to see the good in all things.  His family of the upmost importance to him throughout his life.  Always loving and supporting his family unconditionally.  The strength he had though his hard life was an inspiration.   He never gave up on anything or anyone, he accomplished so much in his lifetime.  Gayle was willing to provide help, guidance experiences and knowledge to all that he could.  He was greatly loved and will be missed.

He is survived by his granddaughter, Nicole Lowrance and grandson, Remy Gedrose; brothers, Rell Gemblin and Debs Gemblin.

Gayle was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Gregory Gamblin; daughter, Trish Gamblin; brothers, James Gamblin, Deaun Gamblin and Fred Moore.
