Three New Cases and Two Additional Fatalities in Hopkins County Reported on October 7th, 2020

Hopkins County Emergency Management announced three new cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County on Wednesday. Two additional fatalities have been added to the state dashboard.

There are now 399 total reported cases in Hopkins County and 314 patients are listed as recovered, according to the county.
Nine patients are currently hospitalized in the COVID-19 unit at CHRISTUS Mother Frances-Sulphur Springs.
The state dashboard is showing a total of fifteen fatalities.
As of pm Tuesday, October 6th, 2020, a total of 596 COVID tests have been performed at the testing center located at 128-A Jefferson Street.
