Seven New Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County Reported on Thursday, July 2nd

Hopkins County Judge Robert Newsom announced seven new cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County on on Thursday, July 2nd. Six of the cases were reported to the county yesterday but the county did not report them until today.

The Local Health Authority will begin to obtain as much information as possible to protect our community, according to HCEM. 

41 of the 67 reported cases are now listed as recovered. There are now 26 active cases in Hopkins County.

None of the cases are currently hospitalized.
