Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.
Many people go through their daily lives feeling unfulfilled and frustrated. Maybe they don’t like their job, or their co-workers, or maybe they feel unappreciated by their families or employers. If you fall into this category there is an easy way out and it involves your worship. When you understand that you were created to worship, not to work, have a family, or be successful, you can find grace to continue walking through any circumstance or frustration. The way this works is that you work as a form of worship, you raise your family as form of worship, any success you experience you give the glory to God as a form of worship. When you realize that your work is your worship and your worship is your work the feelings of frustration and the need for human validation begin to fade away. You will find that your worship will provide and atmosphere which the presence of the Lord can inhabit. When you worship, you not only change your environment and mentality, you bring the presence go God into whatever setting you find yourself in. ‘Worship while you work’…kind of has a nice ring to it. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
