DPS Discovers 10.7 Pounds of Methamphetamine During I-30 Traffic Stop

DPS arrested 38 year old Daniel Lopez of Mesquite yesterday for Manufacturing / Delivery of Controlled Substances over 400 grams. Lopez was stopped for a traffic violation on I-30 and displayed signs of nervousness. During a search of the vehicle and aftermarket compartment containing 10.7 pounds of methamphetamine ice was located. Lopez was also wanted on a warrant through the US Marshals Service. Bond has not been set at the time of this article.
