22 Year Old Sulphur Springs Man Arrested for Sexual Assault After Admitting to Having Sex with Minor

On Tuesday night Abraham Mejia Martinez came to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office to be interviewed in reference to sexual assault allegations. Martinez was read his miranda rights and agreed to speak with an investigator about the case. Martinez, 22 years old, admitted to having sex with a child who was fourteen years of age. Martinez was arrested for Sexual Assault and booked into custody without incident. Bond has been set at $75,000.
