Judge Cummings and Judge Teer spoke to us yesterday about the upcoming warrant round-up. Warrant round-up is a state-wide process stretching from February 25th to March 5th. Those with warrants will receive a pre-warrant notice postcard and a letter from the court with the court’s stamp. Law enforcement officials will be actively participating and serving the warrants.. The judges stressed the importance of contacting the court. They want to work with people to get these warrants resolved. The court will make payment arrangements and realize some of the warrants may be the result of financial hardship. They also stress that they can’t help if you don’t contact them. The court will have extended hours on Wednesday February 22nd and Friday February 24th to help resolve the warrants.
