Who [Jesus] gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
When Jesus died for you and took the penalty for your sin He qualified you to be of use in the Kingdom. This is what the heart of God has had in store for you since the fall of man. His redemptive plan has been in place since that very moment because He wants you to be where He is. Just as He has redeemed you, you must redeem the gifts and blessings in your life by dedicating them for use in the Kingdom. For example, when you tithe, you’re redeeming your finances so they can be a Kingdom benefit. When you cook a meal for someone in need, or fix someone’s car, or assist them in any way with a talent or skill that you possess you’re redeeming that talent or skill. Anything that is redeemed gives you the ability to have it but destroys it’s ability to have you. Start redeeming everything in your life, after all he paid the ultimate price to redeem you. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
