Sulphur Springs and Miller Grove Girls Basketball Teams Advance in Playoffs, Cumby Loses First Round Matchup, and Saltillo Wins Warmup Game

The Sulphur Springs Ladycats basketball team advanced with a 52-30 win over Mesquite Poteet. They’ll move on to face Lone Star in the next round. Lone Star defeated Lake Dallas 80-20 to advance. Details about the game haven’t been announced.
The Miller Grove girls basketball team advanced with a 40-32 win over Bloomburg. Miller Grove will play Dodd City at Paris Chisum High School Friday Feb. 16th at 6:00.
The Cumby Girls basketball team lost their first round matchup against Blue Ridge 71-36.
The Saltillo Lady Lions played a Warm-Up game against CHESS last night and won 50-41. Saltillo will play Ector at Paris Chisum High School Friday Feb. 16th. Game will be played after the Miller Grove-Dodd City game.
