Obituary for Rev. Tommy Noble & Peggy Noble

Funeral Service for Rev. Tommy Noble, age 86, and Peggy Noble, age 82 of Pickton, TX will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Full Gospel House of Prayer, Sulphur Springs, TX with Rev. Todd Turner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Johnson, Johnathon Noble, Joshua Noble, Levi, Noble, Ricky Hurt, and Tyler Aaron. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Noble, Andrew Soto, Eli Soto, Waylon Noble, Billy Noble, and Braxton Aaron.

Rev. Noble passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at his home in Pickton, TX and Mrs. Noble passed the following day Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Christus Mother of Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs, TX. Tommy was born on March 24, 1937 in Tyler, TX the son of Clayton Albert Noble and Sarah Magdalene (McCoy) Noble. Peggy was born on March 29, 1941 in Gilmer, TX the daughter of Robert Daniel and Frances Viola (Davis) Roman. They were married on December 10, 1963 in Plainview, TX and enjoyed 60 happy years together. Tommy was in the Ministry for 52 years and Peggy worked in several hospitals and nursing homes over the years.

They are survived by their children, Harold Gene Noble, Allen Dewayne Noble and wife Lena, Carolyn Jean Noble, Carla Darlene Glossup and husband Dewayne, Clayton Daniel Noble and wife Deanna, Mary Lynn Johnson, Monte Glynne Noble; bonus daughter, Sandy Matthews; thirty-six grandchildren and forty-eight great-grandchildren; Tommy is also survived by his sister, Patricia White. Peggy is also survived by sisters, Patricia Whittington, Nelwyn Finnigan, and brother, Robert Roman.

They are both preceded in death by their parents; children, Tommy Glynne Noble, Jr., Hallie Ann Noble, and Glendon Albert Noble. Tommy is also preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Noble and Jim Noble, and sister, Wanda White.

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
