Netha Joy Hoover of Como, TX went to her eternal home on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the age of 83. She was born on July 31, 1940 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Jim and Naomi (Davis) Bain. She married the love of her life, Mel Hoover, on November 13, 1965. Netha retired from the Hopkins County District Clerks Office. She loved taking trips and spending time with her family. She was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family and church. She was a member of the Resurrection Morning Church in Lone Oak, TX. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

 

She was the “Mother” to Angie Bevill (Bryan Thomas), Keisha Wilcher (Norman), “Netha” to Sherry Booher, Shelly Hoover. She was “Mommy” to Biondi Spencer, Breona Brown (Jobey), Cherish Schepp, Lexi Schepp, Lindsay Herbert, Amanda Beohle, Jake Busteed, Kaylon Hoover, Cody Hoover, Waylon Hoover, Hannah Hoover. She was “Mommy 2” to Kamri Spencer, Kylie Spencer, Adley Mannon, Brennon Smith, Reese Ashworth, Madilyn Brown, Brilyn Sands, Brinlyn Schepp, Brantli Schepp, Byntli Simmons, Lenny Seiler, Rome Pickens. She was “Mom” to Scarlett Black and Caroline Black. Special Sister to Pat Ross and Bill Bain.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Naomi Bain; husband, Mel Hoover; son, Steve Hoover; son-in-law, Gaylon Booher; grandson, Justin Busteed.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
