Funeral service for Clydell (Helms) Clark will be held at 1:00P.M on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at County Line Baptist Church, Miller Grove with Bro, Wayne Darty officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service also at the Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, TX with Michael Burkett, Steven Burkett, Jason Burkett, Billy Hyatt, Baylor Burkett and Landon Burkett serving as pallbearers and Kason Burkett, Austin McCullough and Justin McCullough serving as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Clark went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2023. She passed peacefully with her daughter by her side at her home in Miller Grove.

She was born Myrtle Clydell to parents, Clyde and Iris Helms on Jones Lane in Roxton, TX on December 17, 1937. Clydell attended school at Roxton and Delmar High School. She married Steven Rainey Clark on March 11, 1956. Her only child, Stephana, was born in 1958 and in 1959 they moved from Paris to Garland. Clydell went to work for Texas Instruments from 1959 to 2009 for fifty years of service. She moved to Miller Grove to be close to her daughter and son-in-law in 2015, there she became a devoted member of County Line Baptist Church, the same year.

Clydell is survived by her daughter, Stephana Burkett and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Tiffany Hyatt and husband, Billy, Michael Burkett, Steven Burkett and wife, Cindy, Jason Burkett, and wife, Crystal; great-grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Kaitlyn, Jayde, Baylor, sisters, Patsy Dunn, Carolyn Dunn and husband, Dave, Linda Burress and husband, Joe; brother-in-law, Charlie Clark and wife, Kay.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and brother-in-law.
