Main Street Uncorked By Addison Caddell
Main Street Uncorked Wine and Music Festival is coming to Celebration Plaza next Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Presented by Jay Hodge Chevrolet, this event is a Connected Community Project which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to further increase the sense of community with each event, while raising money to benefit other non-profits in the area.
Main Street Uncorked will host some of Texas’ best wineries along with local vendors and live music. This year’s wineries include FlorVIno Winery, Hidden Hangar Vineyard & Winery, Huntsman Wine & Spirits, the Landon Winery, and many more. Live music will include The Jeb Brooks Band from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Nevermind from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This year’s event will benefit the Shadow Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center in Hopkins County. The ranch aims to enrich the lives of kids and adults with disabilities through the use of horses to provide a peaceful and fun experience for its visitors.
This event is built around the idea of building community in every county it reaches. Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County have a great opportunity to feed into that idea while also supporting local wineries, vendors, and musicians, and contributing to amazing non-profits like the Shadow Ranch Riding Center.
Tickets for this event are available at www.mainstreetuncorkedss.com the ten-dollar prepurchase ticket will include a wine bag and souvenir glass. Tickets will also be available at the door for fifteen dollars.
