The 2023 Hopkins County Fall Festival Presented by Nottingham’s Sulphur Springs Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram, now in its 54th year, is back and better than ever! Mark your calendar with these events for maximum fall fun.

October 11-15: The NEW Homecoming Week Carnival by Talley Amusements will be in the rear of the SSHS parking lot sponsored by City National Bank.

October 21: Fall Festival Parade sponsored by Bell Concrete. Line up at 9 a.m., parade starts at 10 a.m. Parade travels from Buford Park to Brookshires Grocery Store

October 27-28: Creative Arts Contest in the SSHS Conference Room, 1:30 p.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday

October 27-28: Exhibition and vendor booths at the Fall Festival, inside Hopkins County Regional Civic Center, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday. Sponsored by Saputo

October 27-28: Kids’ Zone sponsored by Signature Solar from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Saturday at the Civic Center Grounds

October 27 & 28: Arts & Crafts Show, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday in the SSHS Cafeteria. Contact the Hopkins County AgriLife Extension Office for more info. Sponsored by Farm Country

October 11-15- Homecoming Carnival begins! Talley Amusements’ carnival has exciting rides for all ages, games, fair food and more. Tickets will be available at Super Handy Convenience Stores. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $25. Get your tickets and enjoy a night of fun with the family! The NEW Homecoming Carnival is sponsored by City National Bank.

October 21- Fall festival parade begins at 10 a.m. The parade will start at Buford Park and go down Connally Street to the square where it will turn onto Gilmer St. The parade will go along Gilmer St. and will end at Brookshires Grocery Store.

October 27-28- Kids’ Zone takes over the Civic Center grounds! All activities are FREE to youth. Face painting, mechanical bull, bounce house, and horse rides. Concessions by Ramsey Concessions will be available for purchase. This year’s Kids’ Zone is sponsored by Signature Solar. This event is sure to be fun!

October 27-28- Creative Arts Contest in the SSHS Conference Room, 1:30 p.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday. Hopkins County residents ONLY may contact the Extension Office at 903-885-3443 for age divisions and entry categories. Entries will be accepted Thursday, October 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and Friday, October 27 from 7:30 to 9:30 am. Public viewing is open after judging until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Winners pictures will be taken at 1:30 on Saturday.

October 27-28- Vendor Exhibit at the Civic Center, Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Get some shopping in as local small businesses and organizations showcase all they have to offer, and 2023 will have more participants than ever before! October 27 & 28: The Arts & Crafts Show/Market at the Sulphur Springs High School is for handmade/handcrafted items. Vendor applications are available from the Extension office. The Arts & Crafts Show is open to the public from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, October 27 and from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 28. Sponsored by Farm Country.
