Kiwanis, Lions, Church of Christ build ramp off Highway 19 in summer 2023
A couple residing near Route 19 experienced a life-changing improvement to their daily lives this weekend thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Kiwanis Club, Lions Club and the League Street Church of Christ. With one partner relying on a walker and the other confined to a wheelchair, leaving their home had become difficult. With the support of volunteers, led by President David Froneberger, the couple now has improved accessibility. The project’s completion brings newfound freedom and mobility to the couple’s lives.
