Sulphur Springs Band Hosts Night of Percussion

Sulphur Springs Band Hosts Night of Percussion
  • PublishedMay 2, 2023

Man Oh Man, what a way to start the week. Monday night, the state finalist Sulphur Springs Wildcat band hosted a night of percussion in the Sulphur Springs High School auditorium.

It’s been an amazing year for the Wildcat band, after going to state just a few months ago and finishing fourth place overall. While the band has already been preparing for another run at it next year, they have still impressed their home fans with every chance they’ve gotten.

Monday was no different, as they hosted A Night of Percussion Recital. The recital was free entry and featured works by Moore, Huestis, Blame, Daughtrey.

It was a fun evening for both the band and the spectators alike, as members of the band from all age groups got a chance to perform in front of their home crowd. While another trip to state may be months away, the Wildcat band proved they are already in prime form.

If you missed out on the chance to see the Night of Percussion, don’t worry, the Band is having their Spring Concert Tuesday at 7 p.m., once again in the Sulphur Springs High School Auditorium.
