If you’re anything like me, you love a good snack, but you also don’t want to feel miserable after enjoying some with family and friends.  I’m always looking for snacks that are made with better, healthier ingredients that won’t leave me feeling bloated or with an upset stomach.

With the Super Bowl this Sunday, I thought it would be the perfect time to share a snack that you could take to the party you’re attending or enjoy on your very own couch while cheering on your favorite team.

Where are all my chips and dips fans? This Shredded Chicken and Bacon Dip is packed with protein to help keep your plate balanced while also feeling satisfied.  You can pair it with crackers, or for a lower carb option, zucchini slices or celery stalks.

Shredded Chicken & Bacon Dip

2 (12oz) cans cooked chicken breast

1/2tsp onion powder

1/2tsp salt

6 slices, no-sugar-added bacon, cooked & chopped

1/2c shredded Cheddar cheese

1tsp minced garlic

1/2c Duke’s mayo

      1. Drain all the liquid from the canned chicken
      2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl

Serve with grain free tortillas chips, zucchini slices or celery stalks.

Servings: 12

Macros: 20P/12F/0C

With just a few ingredients and simple directions, your dip might be the party hit! Did I mention this is a dairy-free, gluten-free option?
