Exciting news for avid readers in Hopkins County, Christian Bookstore has an event Saturday, with local author Rolanda Hasten. Hasten will be signing her latest piece, A Day At The Beach.

“A Day at the Beach is a Children’s book about the adventures on can experience at the beach from sunup to sunset,” according to the book’s overview. Hasten’s piece was released earlier this spring, and readers will now have the chance to get a singed copy from her in person.

The event is Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Christian Bookstore on 1181 South Broadway St. For more information you can email Hasten at Rolandahasten@gmail.com.
