Miller Grove robotics slated for world championship

After this weekend’s state championship, two Miller Grove ISD robotics teams are advancing to the World Competition in May.

A team composed of Jase Back, Cannon Ramsey and Juan Ramirez  advanced in competition at semi-finals and qualified for World.

A team composed of Lily Neidhart, Mary Carter and Colleen Alberts won the Design Award, qualifying them for World Competition.

This award is based on their Engineering Notebook and judges interviews.

A third team from the junior high made it to the elimination round, but did not advance to World.

Their school and community report they are very proud and are looking forward to the competition.
