Obituary For Kim Pool

Funeral service for Kim Pool, age 59 of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 2:00P.M. on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Denver Hines officiating. Interment will follow at Greenpond Cemetery with Jon Stowater, David Kull, Greg Hoelscher, Stoney Watkins, Justin Watkins, Terry Pearce, Dakota Williams and Joe Neeman serving as pallbearers and Steven Hoelscher, Cameron Terry and Dr. Sandy Vaculik serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held form 12:00-2:00p.M. on Friday, December 10, 2021. The Lord wrapped his arms around Kimberly on December 4, 2021 and gently took her home.

 

Kim was born on February 7, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to Wayne Bookman and Kathy Dickens. Kim married James Pool on July 18, 1986. She was a Medical Aid and Dietitian at nursing homes here in Sulphur Springs and Emory for many years. She loved working with all the residents making them apart of her family. She retired in order to have more time with her family. Kim had a beautiful smile, a contagious laugh and was a gentle soul who loved all children, cats and dogs as well as her family. Kim had a wide variety of movies “like” Star Trek, all the Fast and Furious films as well as many other genres. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Patricia Williams and husband, Sammy of Greenwood, Louisiana; son, John Pool and wife, Danyelle of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Braxton Williams,  Charlette Pool, John Williams, Samantha Williams and Dakota Williams who she adored; sister, Paula Freeman and brother, David Harrison.

 

She was affectionately known as mom to everyone.

 

Kim was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Michael Pool and sister, JoLynn Johnson.
