Obituary For Charles Carter
Funeral service for Charles Carter, age 90 of Brashear, TX will be held at 2:00 on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev Wayne Darty officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Carter passed away on November 14, 2021 at his residence.
Charles was born on September 13, 1931 in Rains County, TX to John and Edith (Williams) Carter. He married Barbara Jean “Boots” Long on August 29, 1953 in Point, TX. Charles owned a carpet cleaning company for over 20 years in Sulphur Springs, TX. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and attended County Line Baptist Church.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Danyelle Pool and husband, John; great grandchildren, John and Charlette; sisters, Nona Vicars, Barbara Jo Mitchell and husband MJ, and Bonnie Fry; brother, Mike Carter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; son, Chris and granddaughter, Christal “CJ” Carter.
