Hopkins County has a 5th confirmed case of COVID-19, according to Hopkins County Emergency Management.
It is unknown at this time if this case, like the four previous cases, is community spread. This is one of the 3 pending tests in Hopkins County.

No other information is known at this time. The Local Health Authority will begin to obtain as much information as possible to protect our community.
This is the only active case of COVID-19 in Hopkins County. The previous four cases are listed as recovered.

Over 80 people were tested at Hopkins County Civic Center yesterday. Those results are expected to come in next week. Testing was for first responders and those with COVID-19 symptoms.
