From CANHelp:

We will be hosting another Community Action Poverty Simulation on Wednesday, October 17th from 1:00-4:30PM at The ROC. Spots are limited so please sign up quickly.

The simulation would be a good experience for older students, people involved in civic organizations, healthcare workers, non-profit agencies, educators, community leaders, churches, and anyone who wants to know more about the efforts going on in our communities to help fight poverty!

WHY ATTEND A POVERTY SIMULATION?!
Poverty is a reality for many individuals and families within our communities. But unless you’ve experienced poverty, it’s difficult to truly understand. The Poverty Simulation bridges that gap from misconception to understanding. It is an interactive immersion experience. It sensitizes community participants to the realities of poverty.
It exists to:
•Promote Poverty Awareness
•Increase Understanding
•Inspire Local Change

SPREAD THE WORD AND SIGN UP TODAY!
