Winnsboro Police Department Issues Warning About Potential Credit Card/Debit Card Processing Company Hack

Winnsboro PD released the following statement today on their Facebook page:
“Today citizens and banks of Winnsboro have taken a beating. We believe that maybe a processing company has been hacked. Please be very careful using your debit and credit card, and please keep an eye on your accounts. If you feel that you have been targeted, contact your card holder and the local law enforcement.”
