Connie Bennett, age 71, of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away at Rock Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

 

Connie Evon Bennett was born on May 15, 1953 in Uravan, Colorado to Ralph Walter and Lillie Mae (Walker) Ratliff. She was married to Bobby Ray Bennett until his passing. Connie loved gardening, genealogy, baking, and sewing.

 

Connie is survived by her daughters, Connie Mae Shadowen (Roman) of Ralston, Oklahoma, EdnaRae Gould (Eric) of Hunnewell, Kansas, Judy Morrow (Jason) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Lance Webb, Davin Gould, Philycity Gould, Benjamin Gould, Gweniver Gould, Keyona Carter, A’Lexus Carter, Lillie Morrow, Mary Morrow, Sutton Morrow; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Bruce Ratliff (Jeri) of Ralston, Oklahoma, Paul Ratliff (Betty) of Purcell, Oklahoma; uncle, Donald Walker (Betty) of Enid, Oklahoma.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lillie Mae Ratliff; husband, Bobby Ray Bennett; brother, Royce Ratliff.

 

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, 825 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104 or the Riverside Cemetery Association, c/o Kyle Beavers at 347 N. 2nd Street, Ralston, OK 74650.

 

A family-led Graveside Inurnment will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Ralston, Oklahoma at a later date.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
