Obituary for Linda Gilliam

Funeral service for Linda Gilliam, age 75, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Pickton Cemetery. Mrs. Gilliam passed away at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

Linda Kay Gilliam was born on January 27, 1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Joe Davis and Ruby Kathern (Livingston) Darr. Linda worked for several big banks in Texas throughout her banking career which spanned over 40 years, such as Bank of America and Fort Worth City Credit Union, she also worked in the ticket office for the Texas Rangers.

Linda is survived by a son, Timothy Gilliam, Jr.; brother, Charles Darr; ex-husband, Timothy Gilliam, Sr.; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ruby Darr, and brother, Larry Joe Darr.
