David Sewell Obituary

Funeral service for David Sewell, age 76, of Como will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Bro. L.D. Baxley officiating.  Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery with Scotty Sewell, Chris Sewell, Brent Sewell, Jimmy York, Roger Don Sewell and Justin Sewell serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Mr. Sewell passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Heart Hospital in Plano.

David Merrell Sewell was born on April 16, 1944 to Allen Merrell and Katie Ruth (Brooks) Sewell.  David was a Dairyman, Racehorse Trainer, Farrier and a lifelong cattleman.  He was of the Baptist Faith. 

He is survived by his sons, Scotty Sewell, Chris Sewell and Brent Sewell; grandchildren, Justin Scott Sewell, Hayden David Sewell, Grayson Joe Sewell; great grandchild, Nala Nicole Sewell; nephew, Roger Don Sewell; niece, Lana York.

David was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Sherrill Allen Sewell.
