Deacon Vaughn Retirement/ 50 Years Of Service At Saputo
  • PublishedAugust 15, 2023

Today, Saputo in Sulphur Springs celebrated the retirement and 50 year service mark for Deacon “DK” Vaughn. Although it was a happy time, there were many tears shed. Deacon is a legend at Saputo and will be greatly missed. Some of the employees put together a video of everyone at Saputo saying nice things about Deacon. There was also a song sang for him! Just to help you better understand just how important Deacon is to this company, Mr. Saputo himself flew in to attend his party! Food was served and of course, Deacon was in charge of choosing the meal. He chose barbecue for everyone, and his one wish was to eat a giant steak all to himself… so he did! Many of his friends, staff members, and family attended his retirement party. Saputo along with the entire community, is so proud of you, Deacon and wish you a HAPPY retirement! Thank you for 50 years of service at Saputo. ❤️
