The start of the 2023 Texas High School Football season is just around the corner, and the Como-Pickton Eagles are ready for this fall. With just a couple weeks before the season opener, the Eagles will get a pair of scrimmages, along with a couple weeks of practice, to fine tune their game before getting this season under way.

Como-Pickton’s first schedule is next week, on Thursday Aug. 10 when they will travel to Quitman. The following Thursday, on Aug. 17 they will also travel to Paris Chisum where they will get reps against both Chisum and Trenton.

After that the regular season gets started Friday, Aug. 25, with a trip to Simms Bowie, a team they have beaten in two of the last three seasons. Will the Eagles be able to keep the trend going and beat them for a third time in the last four years?

Stay tuned to Front Porch News for all things Como-Pickton Eagles football this fall.
