Wildcats Open Fall Camp

The Sulphur Springs Wildcats opened fall camp Monday, as the Texas High School Football season quickly approaches. With just a few weeks before their season opener on Friday, Aug. 25, the Wildcats hit the ground running this morning.
After a great 7-3 regular season in 2022, Sulphur Springs is looking to replicate that same success and build on it this season. They will have a few weeks of practice, as well as a pair of scrimmages to fine tune their game before the season gets underway.
Their first scrimmage is just a couple weeks away, as they will travel to Lindale on Friday, Aug. 11. Freshman will begin at 5 p.m. with junior varsity following at 6 p.m. and the varsity going last at 7 p.m.
The Wildcats will get another week of practice under their belt, before hosting Wills Point Thursday, Aug. 17 for their second and last scrimmage of the fall. That scrimmage will follow the same template, with the freshman team starting at 5 p.m., followed by junior varsity at 6 p.m. and the varsity going last at 7 p.m.
The following night, Friday, Aug. 18 Sulphur Springs will host Meet the Wildcats at 7 p.m. at Gerald Prim Stadium.
