Martha Ann Singleton (Jones), 81, of Cumby Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 pm, Friday, April 21, 2023, at Pleasant Grove cemetery in Cumby, Texas. Pastor James Mansfield will officiate. Family will receive friends and family on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 12:30pm-2:30pm at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Martha was born June 4, 1941 in Dallas, Texas, to Clement George and Lizzie Jones (Seale). Martha married the love of her life, William Earl Singleton, on May 1, 1957. Martha (a.k.a. Mert) was a dog enthusiast, had spent many years running the family dog kennel and always had a handful or two that she loved like her own children. She loved attending local auctions and flea markets and you’d usually find her on the weekends at Canton First Monday or Vikon Village Flea Market or somewhere in between with a grandkid or more at her side. She also loved spending the hot summer days out at the lake, on the boat, with the family.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Ratzlaff, daughter-in-law, Linda Singleton, grandchildren: Lena Llabres and husband Edwin, Kris Koller and wife Crystal, Amanda Singleton, Kevin Koller and wife Danielle, Mitchell Singleton and wife Charla, Elizabeth Mexia and husband Danny, Tonya George and husband Daniel and 15 great-grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, son David Singleton, son-in-law Kent Ratzlaff, mother and father.
