A funeral service for Christopher “Chris” Dial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Morning Chapel in Sulphur Springs, Texas with Pastor Lavelle Hendricks officiating. Interment to follow at East Caney Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Tapp Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mr. Dial passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Sunny Springs Health and Rehab in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Chris was born on September 11, 1958, in Sulphur Springs, Texas to parents Leonard and Lee Myrtle (Vaden) Dial. He was a self employed concrete contractor and also had an auto detailing shop on Linden Dr. in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He would also work at the car lot for a majority of his time. He was a very hard working man and a member of East Caney Baptist Church.

Chris is survived by his wife, Robbie Johnson; daughter, Kristy Dial, and significant other, Quin Robinson; brother-in-law, Dennis Clayton; nieces, Monica Ellis, and husband, Michael, Ashley Clayton, and fiancé, Kametra Hall, and Taryn Clayton; and great nephew, Ivyn Clayton, and wife, Ashley. Chris leaves behind a host of family and friends to cherish his memories.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jaythell Clayton. Arrangements under the direction of Tapp Funeral Home.
