Funeral service for Stanley Ray Edwards, age 61, of Como, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Pastor Brad McFadden officiating. Interment will follow at Caney Cemetery with Danny Wheeler, Barry Wheeler, James Wheeler, Ed Rosemond, Ethan Edwards and Isaac Edwards. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Edwards passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at Medical City – McKinney in McKinney, TX.
Stanley Ray Edwards was born May 23, 1961 in Dallas, TX to Rayburn Fred Edwards and Sarah Nell (Nichols) Edwards. After graduating high school, Mr. Edwards had a successful career dairy farming in East Texas. He was a member of Brightstar Church.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his daughter, Crystal Stillwagoner and husband, Russel, of Sulphur Springs; son, Aaron Edwards and wife, Mariah, of Saltillo; father, Fred Edwards and wife, Betty, of Mesquite; grandchildren, Mason Stilllwagoner, Colton Stillwagoner, Skylar Edwards; brother, Billy Edwards; sister, Sharon Waleisky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
