Funeral services for Vickey Dianne DeVillier, age 75, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 20, 2022, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Posey Cemetery with Jess Cunningham, Jase Cunningham, Dakota Hrabal, Caelan Cherney, Floyd Lawson, and Donald Sims serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Danny Cherney. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to service time. Vickey passed away at her residence on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. She was born on April 20, 1946, in Brookhaven, MS, the daughter of Robert Edward DeVillier and Katie McKissack DeVillier.
Vickey is survived by her daughters, Stacey Eppars and Brad Armstrong, Sally Cunningham and husband Jason, brother, Mike Howard and wife Maureen, grandchildren, Brandy Sharp, Brittany Sharp, Chancey Sharp, Jess Cunningham, Jase Cunningham, Jake Cunningham, Justin, Cunningham and Jenna O’Neal, great-grandchildren, Case Williams, Dakotah Wilson, Rae Lynn Moore and Willow Montgomery, nephew, Danny Cherney, Nieces, Gigi Webster and Tonya Kelley, grand-dogs, Whiskey Merle and Jada Jo, She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister. Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph’s Indian School, P. O. Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326.
