The Northeast Texas Beef Improvement Organization (NETBIO) will be selling more pre-conditioned calves and yearlings at a sale to be held Friday, February 18 at 1 p.m. at the Sulphur Springs Livestock Commission auction market.

“We have 3,500 head of cattle consigned to the sale by producer/members of NETBIO right now, and there will probably be more consigned before sale time,” said David Fowler. “All the calves offered in the sale will have been through the NETBIO vaccination program and pre-conditioned 60 days or more.”

The sale will be broadcast on the Internet and will be accepting bids at LMA Auctions.com. Internet buyers should register in advance in order to bid. Call the auction market office to register.

The next regular sale will be held on Friday, March 18 and producers are consigning cattle to the sale, which will be held at the Sulphur Springs Livestock Auction starting at 1 p.m.

The NETBIO Pre-Conditioned Stocker and Feeder Calf Sale gives producers a market to offer their pre-conditioned calves and yearlings in load lot quantities.

For more information about these and other sales, call 903-885-2455 or visit their website at sslivestockauctions.com.
