Great Turnout At Youth Football Camp

Great Turnout At Youth Football Camp
  • PublishedJuly 1, 2024

Former Sulphur Springs Wildcat and Current Central Oklhamoma Broncho CJ Williams held a youth football camp Sunday. The camp provided young athletes in the Hopkins County area to get some additional work in, while also learning from some great former Sulphur Springs Wildcats players.

The camp had a great turnout, with over 50 kids between the ages of first grade all the way through 12th grade showing up. The young athletes were given the opportunity to learn and participate in drills to help the overall skills and athleticism, as well as work on position-specific drills to help them work on their individual craft.

The event was a great example of former players giving back to the community and helping the young/future athletes prepare themselves for the next level, much like the players before them did for them. Perhaps some of the young athletes who attended the camp, will get the chance to do the same thing, and give back to the community that is helping them one day in the future.
