Ruby was born November 30, 1937 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Lula Mae Isom and Clovis Lee Isom, Sr. She was the oldest of six children. She left home and moved to Seattle, Washington after graduating from high school. She met and married Dennis David on January 21, 1967. She had two children Derric and DeAndrea, that were born and raised in Seattle. She accepted Christ and was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church for many years.

Ruby worked at Boeing Commercial Airplane Company for over forty years at Everett, Seattle and Renton plants building airplanes. She enjoyed working for Boeing and retired after a long career with them. Ruby never met a stranger and her door was always open to young people and children. Ruby raised other children in addition to her two.

Our beloved departed this earthly life on March 7, 2024, at the age of 86. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Dennis, son Derric and daughter DeAndrea David Taylor, three grandchildren, Jamar Baker, Josiah Taylor and Brandy Daniel, two great grandchildren Elijah Dennis James Baker and Amir Dennis James Baker, all of Seattle, Washington. Two sisters, Belinda Turner of Sulphur Springs, Texas and JoAnne Tyner of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by mother, Lula Mae and father, Clovis, her two brothers, Clovis Jr. and Don, and her grandson, Jaquer Patrick Elijah Baker.
She will be missed by her sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
