Funeral service for Linda Butler, age 73 of Weaver, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2024 at Murray- Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Mike Eason officiating. Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery with Dakota Watts, River Watts, Jesse Butler, Daniel Butler, Kaydon Weston, and J.D. Wilemon serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Linda passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Medical City Plano.

Linda Butler was born January 20, 1950 in Grand Saline, TX to Dempsey Raymond Anglin and Mary Alice Anglin. She graduated from Edgewood High School. Linda married Albert Butler on February 25, 1971 in Quitman, TX. She took nursing classes from Paris Junior College and served as a CNA for many years. She retired as a Medication Aide. She spent her retirement being a grandmother and great-grandmother to the joys of her life.

Linda is survived by her children, Jesse Butler and wife, Cindy, of Pickton, Audrey Wilemon and husband, J.D., of Weaver, Darrell Butler and wife, Pam, of Weaver; grandchildren, Dakota Watts, Brittney Bradley, River Watts, Erin Watts, Jesse Butler, Daniel Butler, Kaylee Butler; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Stephen Martin; great-grandson, Stephen Butler; three brothers; and three sisters.
