Lady Cats Ready For Bi-District Round
The regular season has come and gone and now the postseason is set for the No. 4 ranked Sulphur Springs Lady Cats. After an impressive regular season record of 24-4 and an undefeated district record, the Lady Cats will face the Lindale Lady Eagles in the opening round of the playoffs. The Bi-District round between Sulphur Springs and Lindale is scheduled for a best-of-three series, starting with Game One Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Each game will be played at a neutral site, with Rains High School being the site for Game One. Both teams will get a day off Thursday, before traveling to Commerce High School Friday for Game Two. Game Two’s match is scheduled for half-an-hour earlier than Wednesday’s, with first pitch being set for 6:00 p.m. The two teams will have a quick turn around for Game Three of the series, if necessary. The potential Game Three is set for Saturday at 10:00 a.m., also at Commerce High School. Stay tuned to Front Porch News for continued coverage of the Lady Cats’ postseason.
