Obituary for Tim Tolson
Funeral service for Tim Tolson, age 83, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, with Deacon Jerry Bieze officiating. A private interment will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park with Dustin Gant, Richard Horton, Kade Crowson, Aiden Riley, Vincente Yanez, Mason Rawson, Michael Rawson, Tim Charlton, and Barry Charlton serving as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Tolson passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Tim Tolson was born on June 21, 1943, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to the late Boyd Tolson and Lurlene (Swindell) Hutt. He married the late Patricia (Brady) Tolson in Sulphur Springs, Texas, on December 26, 1962. Tim was a dedicated professional who worked at the Northeast Texas Farmers Co-Op and Wingo Feed Mill for twenty-two years before he retired. He took great pride in his work and the knowledge he shared with others. He was an avid sports enthusiast and especially enjoyed following the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a member of First Baptist Church.
• Tim is survived by his daughters, Frances Charlton and husband Barry, Jennifer Tolson; Grandchildren, Tristan Gant and husband Dustin, Mac Horton and husband Richard, Tim Charlton and wife Liz, Chase Charlton Crowson and husband Kade, Carter Charlton; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Brock, Jax, Patty Mae, Winnie, Scout, TJ, Sonny; sisters, Diane Davis, Gayle Kirsch; sister-in-law, Beth Wisenbaker and husband Donnie; and niece, Tricia Macaluso and nephew, Donnie Wisenbaker Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Heather Irene Tolson, on February 7, 1973; brother, Doug Hutt; grandparents, Edith and C.A. Tolson, who raised him; and grandmother, Ella Swindell.
