Obituary for Kenneth Kincaid
Funeral service for Kenneth Kincaid, age 82, of Yantis, Texas, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Thomas Beddingfield officiating. Interment will follow at Yantis Cemetery with Steven Warren, Cody McKiddy, Brian McKiddy, Ed McKiddy, Logan Cook, and Merle Berg serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Kincaid passed away at UT Health Tyler on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
Kenneth Kincaid was born on June 27, 1944, in Peerless, Texas, to the late Lonnie and Daisy (Fouse) Kincaid. He married Susan (Hight) Kincaid in Rockwall, Texas, on June 27, 1981. Before retiring, Ken dedicated thirty-five years of faithful service to Kraft Foods in Garland, Texas. He was a hardworking and dependable man who took great pride in providing for his family. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with his hands. A true handyman, there was little he couldn’t fix or build. Ken especially cherished spending time with his family, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories with those he loved. He was a man of the Christian faith, and his kindness, strong work ethic, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.
Ken is survived by his wife, Susan Kincaid of Yantis, Texas; daughters, Carrie Mckiddy and husband Ed of Mesquite, Texas, Christi Thomas of Mesquite, Texas; son, Steven Warren of Yantis, Texas; grandchildren, Cody McKiddy, Brian McKiddy, Jake Warren, Justin Warren; great-grandchildren, Jayden McKiddy, Cayden McKiddy, Jackson Westcott, Jensen Cushingham; sisters, Mildred Nichols of Mineola, Texas, Pat Kenney of Yantis, Texas; and brother, Wendel Kincaid of Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bazil Kincaid, Odel Kincaid; sisters, Vera Pugh, Dorothy Holder, and Gladys Mills.
