Funeral service for Kay Fowler, age 79 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 24, 2026 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Paul Pogue officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Mike Moore, Kirby Hudson, Todd Williams Jr, Logan Pogue, Kaden Moore, Carston Moore, and Deuce Young serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Ms. Fowler passed away on July 22, 2026 at her residence.

Kay was born on December 27, 1946 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to J.W and Bertie Marie (Freiberger) Young. She was a beautician, cosmetologist, and a bookkeeper. Kay enjoyed interior designing and decorating. She also loved shopping, going to the casinos, and having fun. She was a devoted grandmother who loved to cook and host Sunday dinners for her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Hudson and husband, Kirby, and Kim Moore and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Logan Pogue and wife, Michelle, Kelsy Williams and husband, Todd, Chesley McGlamery, Kasey Rackley and husband, Ryan, Kaden Moore, Carston Moore and Brandon Fowler; and special friend, Bill Weddle.

Kay was preceded in death by her mother and father; brother, Bubba Young; sister, Sandra Irvin; and granddaughter, Haley Pogue. The online register book can be signed at www.murrayorwosky.com
