Funeral service for Anna Osorio, age 11, of Pueblo, Colorado, will be held at 11 :00 A.M. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro. Doyle Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Posey Cemetery with Daniel Lopez, Osman Lopez, Jose Lopez, James Brown, Jose Osorio, Ellis Dicus, and Garett Jones serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Anna passed away at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Anna Osorio was born on April 4, 2015, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Jose Manuel Osorio Calix and Amanda (Bisenius) Osorio. Anna’s favorite things to do are crocheting, collecting rocks, and playing basketball with her dad, especially after she learned she could make 3-pointers. She enjoyed cooking, drawing, writing, and anything related to Caitlin Clark. She was Caitlin’s biggest fan. Anna enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Anna is survived by her parents, Jose and Amanda Osorio, brother Jose Osorio II (Jr.), and sister Adeline Osorio. Grandparents Lawanda and Darren Barnhart, Scott and Veronica Bisenius, and Jose Lopez. Great-grandparents Ellis and Debbie Dicus and Bill Thomas. Aunts and Uncles, Boo (Abreeanna) & Garrett, Adesha & Josh, Evelyn, Daniel, Geraldine, Osman, and their families. She is also survived by her Great-Uncles and Great-Aunts, many cousins, and man friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maria Concepcion Osorio Calix.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
