2026 April Saputo Difference Makers

2026 April Saputo Difference Makers
  • PublishedMay 5, 2026

Please join me in congratulating April’s Difference Makers: Dennis Clayton, Milton Ragan, and David Dodd. Together, they represent an incredible 108 years of service. Thank you for your dedication, commitment, and the difference you continue to make every day.

Dennis “Hands” Clayton

Dennis has been a valued member of Saputo since February 1989 and currently works in our Distribution Department supporting Inventory Control. He manages trailer and warehouse inventory, oversees yard truck and trailer maintenance, handles parts ordering, and maintains our RF computer equipment used by forklift operators.

Dennis treats all company equipment as his own, works hard to protect Saputo from unnecessary costs by fighting warranty issues, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our operation. He treats his coworkers like family and brings positivity to everyone around him.

Great job, Hands, and thank you for everything you do. ~ Nathan Ridner

Milton Ragan

There are a lot of great things that can be said about Milton Ragan. Beginning his work-life in the dairy industry on his family’s farm, Milton learned about milk long before he ever heard of Saputo. His plant career began in 1995 when the company’s name was Specialty Foods. Learning production quickly, Milton specialized in the then new technology of Aseptic Packaging. Working his way up through different leadership roles allowed Milton to expand his expertise and focus on building the programs still used today for FDA compliance. He now oversees the Regulatory & Aseptic Compliance plus Commodity Receiving segments of the facility.

It’s a rare day to not see a smile on Milton’s face, even when production tries to be mischievous. His lighthearted personality is contagious, and he would go a million miles out of his way to help anyone. (He and a couple other co-workers helped me get an interview with QA way back when)! It’s been pretty entertaining working with him over the years. Fun fact: he was well known for his cartwheels once upon a time! (I hope his grandkids see that)! And maybe playing softball… Maybe. One thing is for sure ~ With Milton around there’s never a dull moment!

When you see Milton, give him a hug and congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition!! ~ Tracy Price

David Dodd

“Dodd” has been with the Company for 41 years and has consistently exemplified dedication, loyalty, and a strong commitment to doing the right thing for both the business and others. His experience, work ethic, and steady leadership have made a lasting impact on countless employees and on the overall success of the Company. Throughout his career, he has held many roles and currently serves as an Engineering Specialist / IT. Regardless of title, Dodd can always be counted on to pivot and help with anything, inside or outside the walls of Saputo.

Thank you for your dedication and contributions over the past 41 years. ~ Joe Wallace

Congratulations to each of you and thank you for everything you do for Saputo! Your dedication and hard work truly make a difference. As a token of our appreciation, each of you will receive a Difference Maker shirt, a new Saputo Excellence Coin, and be recognized on the billboards around Sulphur Springs. Job well done! ~ Joe Wallace
