Dakota was born on November 19, 1999, in Fredericksburg, Texas to Steven and Shelley (Odgen) Kane.

Dakota was always the first to show up for his friends and family. If there was a need, he was there. Ready to serve. Ready to help. That was just who he was.

Over the last several weeks, he was intentional about his walk with the Lord. He was searching for a deeper relationship with Him. Asking questions. Leaning in. Challenging himself to grow closer and stronger in his faith.

Dakota worked at DEP Heat and AC in Caddo Mills as a Installer.

Dakota Kane is survived by his parents, Steven and Shelley (Odgen) Kane; and fiancé, Maci Burchfield; children, Oliver, T-Ray and Lily; Siblings, Nick (Katlyn), Gracie (SeBestain), Nicole and Michael; nephew, Skrappy.
