Funeral mass for Alfredo Reyes Morales age, 69 of Sulphur Springs will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 9, 2026, at the St. James Catholic Church with Father Victor Hernandez celebrating. Burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery with Michael Reyes, Elizabeth Reyes, Saul Reyes, Jesus Mejia, Roberto Rivera and Alex Rivera serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm and Rosary will be held at 7pm.

Mr. Reyes was born on December 4, 1956, in Rincon de Banda San Luis Potosi, Mexico the son of Jose Manuel Reyes Flores and Julia Morales Jimenez. He married Hortencia Lopez Estrada, and she survives.

Alfredo was retired and had previously worked as a porter for a Ford Dealership for several years. He enjoyed his music, dancing, and was known for taking care of his things with fine detail.

He is survived by his wife Hortencia Lopez Reyes of Sulphur Springs, Son Michael Reyes of Sulphur Springs, daughters, Nancy Reyes and husband Joe Gonzalez of Sulphur Springs, Janie Annete Parker and husband Miles of Cumby, Elizabeth Reyes of Sulphur Springs. Grandchildren; Alexa Daisy Gonzalez, Gabriel Eduardo Gonzalez, Erik Isaias Gonzalez, Penelope Mari Parker, Tobias Aaron, Parker and Luka David Parker. Brothers Seferino Reyes, of DeSoto, TX, Galdino Reyes of Joya de Luna, SLP, Saul Reyes of Reynosa, Tamps.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Daisy Gladys Reyes, his parents and one brother Leandro Reyes.
